Vision
Horizon Elementary School is a professional learning community of educators, parents, students, and community members. We continually incorporate best practices so all students will achieve high standards academically, personally, and socially.
We Believe
Every child deserves a safe and caring learning environment.
Students who are not learning deserve and will receive positive academic interventions and appropriate behavior supports.
Basic values of responsibility, dignity, respect, honesty, and teamwork will be modeled and used to foster self-discipline.
Diversity of students, families, and staff will be respected.
All students learn in different ways and at different rates. To reach their full potential, students will be provided with a variety of current research-based instructional approaches to maximize learning.
